The varied terrain. Much to choose from. Either pebbles underfoot, or rocky beaches to cross. Some of us show off our balancing skills.
Rest time and idle, or possibly not so idle chatter.
Today strong wind and a foamy sea. Not much chance of swimming at the bay, but a few hidden safe rock pools cooled some of us. Luckily, the forecast of rain held off.
To end the hike some of us relaxed over a lunch box picnic while others enjoyed a picnic braai.
It is noted that these braais are built for: Both the not-so-tall, as well as the not-so-short.
