A delightful day in the Tyrol today, enjoyed with MCSA members we met at last year’s July Camp/National Meet in the Southern Drakensberg – a real privilege to be part of a club of so many like-minded members (and, on that note, don’t forget about this year’s National Meet in the Cederberg – I’ve just been advised that the organisers have extended the deadline for registration by a week to help those slow to make up their minds).
After my last note Gillian alerted me to another Section member’s achievement on the MUT 60: Johan Schwarz completed this in 13:46:42.
In the Committee’s original deliberations after the 2025 AGM we didn’t plan to hold a social in July since so many of us are usually away then (see above!). Closer to the time, however, we decided to give it a try and see what the response was. Not enough members confirmed their attendance, so we have cancelled the event. I’m delighted that Clive is still willing to present to us later this year.
‘til another time
