Dear all
2025 is officially over, and I do hope that you’re developing plans for a plethora of enjoyable excursions in the hills this year. And if you are, that you’ll offer some of these as meets to your fellow club-members! ‘Let a hundred flowers bloom’, as a well-known and now deceased Asian leader once said.
On an administrative note: as is customary, there will be no Social in January. Details will follow closer to the time, but we have an exciting speaker lined up for our February Social, which will take place in the second week of February. Our Section’s AGM will then take place in the first week of March.
The British Mountaineering Council (BMC) has issued an invitation to representatives from the MCSA to attend the BMC International Summer Meet 2026, taking place in North Wales, United Kingdom, from Saturday 13 June to Saturday 20 June 2026.
